THE PRODUCTION NOTEBOOK
From the board
to the frame.
The reference is a starting point. The finished session is what happens when a setting, a creative team, and real people bring their own ideas to it.

Berry after dark
The planning board explores rich berry color, layered florals, and intimate bar settings. The Commonwealth session carries that warmth into portraits framed by the actual bar, its seating, and ambient light.
Look at the red floral detail, the warm interior, and how the couple’s interaction becomes the center of the frame.

Record-store romance
The board uses candy-colored accents and everyday city objects to suggest a playful elopement. At 11th Street Records, vinyl sleeves, flowers, and the shop’s own character create a setting that feels specific to Downtown Las Vegas.
Compare the color story with the finished details: the record wall, cake, flowers, and the couple’s styling each contribute without reproducing a reference photograph.

A concept that keeps evolving
The café board explores alternative wedding details through food, texture, and shape. The wider DTLV production also includes graphic stationery and playful objects photographed at The White Space. These sit alongside the planning reference as different parts of the creative archive.
This is a thematic comparison, not a claim that every element on the board was produced. Completed images and planning references are labeled separately.
Inspiration boards contain reference images sourced online; individual photographs belong to their original creators. These are not presented as House portfolio work. Original source credits are being compiled. Send a credit or removal request.

the picture.
- Find the feeling. Choose a point of view, palette, setting, and purpose for the work.
- Build the team. Match the idea with the people and materials that can bring it to life; clarify roles and credits.
- Plan the access. Make room in the timeline for details, portraits, rotations, and individual shooting time.
- Leave room for people. Let movement, connection, and each creator’s perspective change the frame.
- Share the whole story. Connect finished work with its collaborators, original posts, and the experience behind it.
